how long till I have to repay a personal loan, and is it better to take a secured loan?

I really need some advice on this...

you have a lot of flexibility when selecting loans. you can select the period and adjust the payments accordingly.
in my opinion a secured loan is always better

Secured loans are more beneficial because of lower interest rates and this is very important.
