Are secured loans fixed rate? Basically if I take out one now at say 7% for 10 years will the payments be the same, or could the rate be liable to jump up to say 9%

If rates did move, what safe guards do I have that the loan compnay will nit put up rates unreasonably (2 quarter point rises, they increase by 2%)?

What typically are the early repayment costs?

Probably looking at a loan with First Plus, please help - PM

I don't think that secured loans have fixed rate, I'll have to check.
from what I know it will not be 9%
