Taxes are one of the basic responsibilities of every citizen. Every tax payer has their own rights and it is mandatory to know what rights you hold if you are paying your taxes on time. Tax payer rights are applicable to everyone who pays taxes regardless of whether you are filing a big corporate tax account, a medium income tax or if you are filing for your EITC. No one is seen with the eyes spectacled by partiality by the Internal Revenue System in matters of paying taxes. Everyone regardless of their color, sex, race or ethnicity is required to pay their dues to the treasury as ordained by Tax laws. The Internal Revenue System managing Taxes of every citizen assures the following to every tax payer:- • Tax payers are required to pay the exact amount due to the IRS. If they cannot pay, they can make their taxes in monthly installments. No one is allowed to pay more or a little less. The exact amount that one owes should be paid. • Every employee of the IRS will be available for help to protect the rights of every Tax payer as far as the requirement is legit. • The IRS promises to keep tax details and income information that is filed for taxes to be maintained confidentially. They are not going to leak out any of the tax payer’s information to any outsider. Confidentially of income details of every taxpayer is strictly maintained. However, when such details are compulsorily required to be release per County court judgments or other kinds of Government law it may be released. • When getting in to contact with the IRS regarding taxes and payment if any employee of the department humiliates or ill treats any tax payer, the citizen holds every right to file grievance against the employee. All grievances can be addressed to the IRS director, which will be attended to promptly. • It is not necessary that every individual should in person pay the taxes by themselves; you can authorize your attorney, chartered accountant or any others who are eligible to represent your tax paying proceedings to make it on your behalf to the IRS. • It is quite important that every detail pertaining to the taxes to the IRS be done in a legit manner. Any form of manipulated data will be strictly ruled out and is punishable by law. |
